Meet the Principal
Dr. Kassia Morris-Sutton
Dear Norcross Parents,
As we get ready to begin another school year, I feel fortunate to have been a part of a cluster with great community support and pride for the past two years. I am looking forward to continuing to serve the Norcross Cluster and collaborating with the dedicated staff of Norcross Elementary to provide the best educational program for our students in the coming school year. I have been an educator for over twenty years. My career started with Polk County Public Schools in Florida at a Title 1 School where I was a teacher and a Literacy Coach.
In 2005, my family and I relocated to Gwinnett County and Gwin Oaks Elementary School was my first teaching assignment with Gwinnett County Public Schools. Three years later, I became an assistant principal at Trip Elementary; joined Chattahoochee Elementary as an assistant principal in 2015; and now I am here with you! I am just as committed to academic excellence for all children as I was when I began my career in 1994.
I firmly believe that when we all work together for our children’s academic success, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. Furthermore, I believe that teamwork, working smarter, high expectations and consistency are keys to success. With all sincerity, I look forward to working alongside you as we continue to nurture our Eagles.
Sincerely,
Kassia Sutton
