Green Team
If you are interested in plants, gardening, sustainability, recycling, and protecting our planet, this is the club for you! Students will be spending time outside, as well as inside, so please take allergies into consideration when applying. Students will have the opportunity to interact with nature and its needs, oversee multiple forms of gardening, and will learn about sustainable practices to keep our planet green! Keep an eye out for applications coming home soon!
Mission: Students will learn about environmental issues and have the opportunity to learn indoor and outdoor gardening skills.

Description of Planned Activities: For students interested in plants, gardening, sustainability, recycling, and protecting our planet. This club is open to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Students will have the opportunity to interact with nature and its needs, oversee multiple forms of gardening, and will learn about sustainable practices to keep our planet green! September-May
Local Affiliation: Students will have the opportunity to work with Master Gardeners from the UGA Extension service here in Gwinnett County.
Meeting Place: Tuesdays after school 3:45 – 5:30 p.m. late August – May
