Ms. Amy Crapo
Hello! My name is Amy Crapo. I graduated from the University of Florida with my Specialist and Master’s Degrees in the Department of Counselor Education and my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I moved to Atlanta from Gainesville, Florida to pursue our dream jobs. I began working at Norcross Elementary in January of 2002 as a 1st grade teacher. In 2007, I began this amazing career as a Professional School Counselor. My husband is a chef and we have one son that is in 7th grade. I am very active in Gwinnett County. I am team leader for one of the Emergency Response Teams, past chair for the counseling steering committee and I am responsible for training all the new elementary counselors in the county. When I’m not at work, I love to exercise, cook, and work in my garden. I can be reached 7:45-3:45 at the number listed to the left.

Matt Ho
Hi, my name is Mr. Ho, and I am the 4th and 5th grade counselor here at Norcross Elementary. I graduated High School in Cobb County, got my bachelor’s degree in social work in Hawaii and my Masters in School Counseling here in Georgia at Georgia State University. I lived in South Korea for 2 years teaching English and have done a lot of travelling in that part of the world. I am married have two kids, two dogs and 8 chickens. I love the outdoors, music, Star Wars, comic books, making stuff, fixing stuff and eating. My goal as a counselor is to help children be better prepared to cope with a competitive and fast paced world by cultivating their innate emotional intelligence, resilience and empathy.
