Foundational reading skills are critical in the educational success of students. In order for students to be good readers, they must have numerous opportunities to read. Fostering a love for reading is critical in elementary school.
An initiative we will be collecting funds for is a Book Vending machine. This vending machine will be used to get students excited about reading by igniting a passion for reading that transcends the classroom.
